Terms & Conditions
The ground rules for using Chicken Nugget University services, memberships, and digital content.
Last updated July 28, 2026Agreement to these terms
These Terms and Conditions form a legally binding agreement between you and Phil Wright Inc., doing business as Chicken Nugget University and CNU (“CNU,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). They govern your access to our website, member platform, live sessions, digital content, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).
By accessing or using the Services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
Minors and parent permission
CNU serves young dancers. A parent or legal guardian must purchase or authorize a minor’s membership, review these terms, and supervise the minor’s use of the Services. A parent or guardian who enrolls a student represents that they have authority to consent on the student’s behalf.
Parents and guardians are responsible for helping students use live sessions, community features, and member resources safely and appropriately.
Accounts and registration
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete registration information and to keep it updated. You are responsible for safeguarding account credentials and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe an account has been used without permission.
Accounts and member resources may not be sold, transferred, or shared outside the enrolled household unless CNU gives written permission.
Memberships, billing, and cancellation
Membership pricing, billing frequency, included benefits, and any trial or promotional terms are presented before purchase. By enrolling, you authorize the payment method provided to be charged according to the offer you select.
Recurring memberships continue until canceled. Cancellation instructions and any offer-specific refund terms are shown during enrollment or in the member platform. Cancel before the next billing date to avoid the next recurring charge. Except where required by law or expressly stated at checkout, completed charges are nonrefundable.
We may change pricing or membership features with advance notice as required by applicable law. A failed or reversed payment may result in paused or terminated access.
Program participation
Schedules, educators, guests, topics, replays, and program features may change. We work to deliver a consistent educational experience but do not guarantee the availability of a particular instructor, class, recording, or outcome.
CNU provides dance-industry education and mentorship. It does not guarantee representation, employment, auditions, bookings, admission to any program, or a professional career. Participants remain responsible for their own choices, preparation, and wellbeing.
Acceptable use
You may use the Services only for lawful, personal, and educational purposes. You may not interfere with the Services, bypass security or access controls, impersonate another person, harvest data, upload malicious code, or use automated systems to access content without permission.
- Do not harass, threaten, exploit, or endanger students, families, educators, or staff.
- Do not share another participant’s personal information, images, or recordings without permission.
- Do not record, copy, redistribute, sell, or publicly post CNU sessions or member resources unless CNU expressly authorizes it.
- Do not submit content that is unlawful, deceptive, discriminatory, sexually explicit, or otherwise harmful.
CNU intellectual property
The Services—including our curriculum, videos, graphics, text, trademarks, logos, lesson materials, site design, and other content—are owned by or licensed to CNU and protected by intellectual-property laws.
While your account remains in good standing, CNU grants you a limited, revocable, nonexclusive, nontransferable license to access member materials for personal, noncommercial educational use. No ownership rights are transferred to you.
Participant content
You retain ownership of original content you submit. You give CNU a limited license to host, store, reproduce, and display that content as needed to operate the Services, provide feedback, and support the program.
We will seek appropriate permission before using a student’s name, image, video, testimonial, or work in public marketing when permission is required. You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed for anything you submit.
Third-party services
The Services may link to or rely on third-party providers, including payment, video, community, and social platforms. Their separate terms and privacy practices govern your use of their services. CNU is not responsible for third-party content, availability, or practices.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect personal information and is incorporated into these terms. Because the Services are operated from the United States, information may be processed in the United States.
Suspension and termination
We may limit, suspend, or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect participants, enforce these terms, address nonpayment, comply with law, or maintain the safety and integrity of the Services. You may stop using the Services at any time, but stopping use does not by itself cancel a recurring membership.
Provisions that by their nature should survive termination—including intellectual property, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute provisions—will continue to apply.
Disclaimers and liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and noninfringement. We do not promise uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure operation.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CNU and its officers, employees, educators, and partners will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, opportunities, or goodwill arising from the Services.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions or liability limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be limited.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before filing a formal claim, you and CNU agree to make a good-faith effort to resolve the matter by contacting the other party.
Any dispute not resolved informally will be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction in Los Angeles County, California, unless applicable law requires a different forum.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms to reflect changes to the Services, our practices, or applicable law. The revised version will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date. Material changes may also be communicated through the Services or by email.
